Estonia a really good place to visit, although a little messed up. The old town of Tallin is beautiful, and seriously mediaeval (on your ass). Plenty of russian orthodox stylings. Downtown is very soviet union, blocky brick monolith's etc. The people we met were friendly, probably because the tourist industry is the only major one there. The country is cheap, because its economically ravaged (40% unemployment), but don't take the mickey and always tip well. The food is very good mainly meat and vegetables.
