Krakow ... it s cheap (as Poland is yet to join the Euro). Krakow is a beautiful city, the architecture is old, some of the buildings are falling apart, but it all adds to the charm. The square in the centre is full of hustle and bustle and most days there is a market where street traders sell pastries and fresh flowers. The city has a real old European flavour to it and it is the perfect city to just sit, while you watch the world go by. My first visit * Krakow was first recommended to me by a work colleague who had been holidaying in Poland for years. Pisa ... is located in the Italian region of Tuscany in the north of the country and is a beautiful city to visit made famous by its leaning tower. It is not a large city with a population of about 100k however this number gets swollen due to the number of tourists that visit it. We flew into Galileo Galilei Airport which is about a mile outsode the city and we used a shuttle bus to get into the city which was about 5 euro. Pisa is a great place to enjoy some great Italian cuisine but you do have to hunt out the good places amongst the number of tourist tra... Read the full review: Lean on me by sympatic |

Its nothing of the sort, the main word I would use to describe it is ugly. Everything is ugly, its like the rest of Europe would have been 50 years ago only worse. 98% of the city is grey tenement blocks, and there is literally nothing to do - the castle is closed, the museum is essentially an empty building, and a highway runs through the only potentially attractive part. Stand atop the castle in the center of the city and the state of the place just makes you want to cry. Its not a place where people even live, they just eek out any kind of existance they ...
