Falkenberg

A very popular coast for German holidaymakers, I am told. Certainly the rural countryside is appealing, and Falkenberg has one of the longest sandy beaches for a very long way...think Weston Super Mare beach, or Blackpool beach, the long expanse of miles of sand. But forget chip shops, arcades, entertainment, night clubs, piers, penny machines and pubs. Think instead of a beach, a few hotels and a small town....a very small town that probably doubles its population in the summer.
