Eating out in Fuengirola is fairly cheap, but if you follow the main coastal road down you will find that as you leave the town, the food gets cheaper! On average a dinner and a soft drink or glass of cheap wine costs about 1000 pesatas which is just less than four pounds. Just be careful on our first night we were conned and given bread which we were then made to pay for!!!! only 750 pesatas between 6 of us but its the principle!! All the restaurant and pub owners speak good english and there is pretty much no language barrier, so i wouldn't worry about that! ... more |

We booked our holiday last year so got a full choice of accomodation so got the exact holiday we wanted. We decided to stay in some self catering accomodation about 30 mins walks from the centre of fuengirola! Perfect - far enough away to get away from the noise if your in need of sleep but not far enough away to have to take lots of extra money to pay taxi fares. Incidently if you wantde a taxi, it only costs 600 pesatas (about £2.50) to get there or back! The centre of Fuengirola has a large choice of bars and clubs either where you can experience spanish culture or just stick to a good old english pub!!! - Drinks are fairly cheap and there are a ...
