For many years travelling through Spain we always avoided Granada. Why? The thought of walking around this great city looking at its treasures along with thousand of other tourists always put me off especially in the mid July heat. I am so glad that I changed my mind and plucked up courage to take the task in hand because this is a beautiful city, ... Read the complete review

Granada is one of the most beautiful cities that I have visited, and definitely the most beautiful that I have visited in Spain. (I have visited Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga). It's location at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain range is stunning. I visited in March and there was still snow on the mountain tops ... Read the complete review

I spent several years in Granada (southern Spain) - and I loved it! Firstly, Granada is a province - and there is also a city called Granada in the province, which is its capital. We loved the place! The city itself obviously has some rather poor looking areas as there are alot of people living in such close ... Read the complete review

I have been most of my life living in Granada, and so I feel the need of recommending it to anyone who can get there. The city is in Southeast Spain, about 50 km from the coast, 100 km from Malaga (Costa del Sol). Along with being close to the coast, it is also just 30 km from one of the best ski resorts in Spain, Sierra Nevada, with about 60 km ... Read the complete review

I've lived in a fair few places around the world (yep, I'm going to write about all of them on Dooyoo!) and Granada is one of my favourites. I lived there back when I was a student and I loved every minute of it! It's a compact city, like many in Spain. Everyone tends to live in flats and apartments there, rather than ...
