I was in Gumbet this year in July and was the best holiday I have ever been on! I went with my family and another family, 9 of us in total. We flew from Belfast international airport and arrived in Bodrum airport, My first impressions of Turkey were it was very hot as it was about 28 degrees in the middle of the night. The coach journey to Gumbet lasted about 1 and a half hours. There are loads of multicultural restaurants; that is, they sell Indian, Chinese, Italian and Turkish as well as all the usual steak with a sauce variations, etc. There are also loads of bars but hey, that?s what this kind of holiday is about and the nightlife is reasonably good. The people are very friendly and some really loved us Scots so much they married them. I thought I was being wound up at first and it was all sales patter but I was ...
