Hamilton Island ... situated close to the east coast of Queensland, Australia. Hamilton Island is located at 20°21′S, 148°57′E. Unlike most islands off the east coast of Australia, Hamilton Island is used almost exclusively for tourism. However the island is catering for a growing number of residents, both employees of the various businesses on the island and also those people choosing to retire and enjoy the lifestyle.

When you arrive on the island your luggage is picked straight up from the airport and taken straight to your room in which ever of the hotel complexes you are staying at. The majority of the island runs on a key scheme, so you want to buy something just show your key and it is put on your bill, all you have to do is sign a voucher just like a credit card. So you don’t have to worry about paying for things until at the end of your stay and then all you have to do is pay the one bill.
