An amazing, exciting city (Hong Kong)

My husband and I decided to visit Hong Kong after hearing some fantastic stories of how lovely it was. We managed to get a very good package through a holiday company and spent five nights in the Eaton Hotel. Hong Kong is such a vibrant place and the first night we arrived we just walked around in awe, there is such an exciting feeling about the place. Public transport is excellet in Hong Kong and you can travel on the metro, buses and taxis for very little money. We walked a lot of places as well as you see some interested sights as you walk around the city. Although our hotel was on Kowloon, we spent a lot of time over on Hong Kong island, especially in Stanley which is a lovely little fishing village with a great market. Shopping is fantastic in Hong Kong and you must visit the markets that are renowned for there good bargains (night market, ladies market, Jade market). Food is also fantastic and you can eat every sort of cuisine you could wish for, we opted for a lot of Chinese food (obviously) and it was great. Dont be put off by the street restaurants at the markets as the food is excellent!
