Many of you may have noticed my absence from Dooyoo lately. It is only because I have been in Gaol again. They don't let us have computers and the internet in Gaol, which to me violates the provision in the American constitution against cruel and unusual punishment. I am getting divorced and I have been suffering so I ran away to Iowa. I have been getting my Anglophile fix by watching Changing Rooms on BBC America. If I were to tell you how I feel about that little Scottish Tart my opinion would get locked up a lot faster than my discussing Tina of S Club7 on my music op got that one cast into the twilight zone. I’ll bet it’s not every day that you sit down to read a review on Iowa. Well not on this site as this is the first. I have to say that I have included some general facts on Iowa but the main body of this review concerns Madison County, which is in Iowa after all. Bill Bryson the travel writer always introduces himself as being from Iowa because someone has to! My darling wife declared that we would visit Iowa during our annual holiday this year. New York is one of the best and greatest cities on this planet., Everything is really good value for money! Im not there now! Takes neally 8 hours to get there by plane and immigration is a little scary other than that you have to go!
