Newest Review: ... to a recommended BBQ restaurant Jack Stack Barbecue, one of 4 in downtown Kansas City. I have to admit the food was pretty good, great beef, pork and chicken for all you meat lovers, definitely worth visiting for some authentic Kansas City cuisine! Now I love to shop and I wasn't expecting much from Kansas City then someone told me about the country club plaza which is an outdoor mediterranean style shopping centre with some great shops and restaurants. Kansas City is not the first city that would spring to mind for a city break, you may even be hard pushed to find it on the map and even more surprised to find that it is actually in the state of Missouri and not Kansas. However an American Travel organisation has recently named it as one of the top ten overlooked cities and while it most certainly is not like a new york or san francisco there are some gems to be had in this city. It is often nicknamed as the city of fountains as there are seemingly over 200 in the city and who knew that Kansas City is the BBQ capital of the world.
