Kariba

After a long drive from Harare to Kariba my dad and I arrived at a dodgy hotel on the banks of the lake. My first impression of the hotel was not one of the greatest satisfaction. We arrived in the early evening to witness one of the breathtaking Kariba sunsets. To me, and everyone else who saw it, it left a great sense of tranquility as we could also hear the lapping of the lake's shores a couple hundred metres away. This and the great oranges, yellows and reds will remain with me forever.
