If travelling then don't ignore the Russian - Kazakstan-China route - Advantages: Great People, Untravelled, Unique - Disadvantages: Bureaucratic , Poor infrastructure

Kazakstan the name sounds cool, but as a holiday destination, it most certainly sucks. I went there a few years back to do a bit of work, but I had my eye open for some leisure activities after the work was over. This is the country that was told it was independent, rather than have to fight for it. Old Boris thought, shit, as all the other countries around it are going to be independent, we may as well offload ‘Kazzy’ as well, seeing as all we’ve ever use it for is testing our nuclear, chemical and biological warfare and draining the odd inland sea.
