Laid back, enjoyable and fun, Kissimmee provides you with 24 hour entertainment at a budget to suit every pocket. Even the cheapest accommodation betters our average £70 a night hotel and comfort is never a problem. ... more

Question. Where would you find Disney World? If you answered Orlando, then try again. Disney World belongs to Kissimmee (kizzemmmee) In fact, Kissimmee provides more fun, entertainment and family value than Orlando and International Drive in my honest opinion. Having travelled to Florida some 9 times now, I feel that I can tell you about the places to visit and how to get the most for your money. No fancy descriptions, no plugs, no advertising. Just plain, down to earth honesty. Kissimmee is located south, East and West of Disneyworld, and has a main thorough fare, called W Irlo Bronson memorial Highway, or H192 ...  Read the complete review

So you want to stay in Florida huh? Well why not hire a car and stay about 20 minutes from the airport in beautiful surroundings and easy access to everything without being stuck in the main hustle and bustle of Orlando? Like that idea? Well head for Kissimmee! Location. Situated SouthWest of Orlando, Kissimmee is a holiday community that is mixed well with local people in a villa paradise. If you want to get yourself a decent sized villa here, you will have an inexhaustable supply of choice. Houses with pools and nice gardens are situated in suburbia here without the dark shadows of skyscraper hotels falling on your property. This is no ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Kissimmee: cheap way to holiday in florida. (294 words)

If you want to go to Florida but don't want to pay as much for it as normal here is a good option. You need a few friends the more you can get the better. We went as a party of 6 but it would have been cheaper for 8. You can rent a house for about £500 pounds a week. So between 6 people it costs less than £100 a week. We stayed in Kissimmee, which was a nice quiet place close to Orland. We hired a people carrier for the 2 weeks that we were there. It gave us a great amount of freedom. The cheapest place that we found for the car was a place in Orlando called anchor auto rentals. For a bit extra he will pick you up from Stanford air port if you don't fly into ...  Read the complete review

This place is wonderful, fantastic, magic! In fact Magic is the right way to describe Florida, and I don?t just mean because of Disney World. We traveled there in 1997 for a family holiday and stayed at the Travel Inn in Kissemmee, very close to all the Disney parks. We were told the package included a hire car which we could pick up from the airport on arrival ? beware of the sting! ? although the car hire is "free", you have to pay for the insurance which is compulsory and could cost you as much as 32000 rupees for a fortnight. Driving around in the USA is not a problem, the roads are wide, well sign posted and generally ...  Read the complete review

A few years back my and my family went on a fun filled holiday to florida we were staying in a ville in kissamee. Everyday we would wake up early and go to the magical theme parks. I really enjoyed my stay in Florida and we returned two years later to do the things we never had time to do the first time. I didnt find florida to be a relaxing holiday I found it to be fun and brilliant for kids, the food was also great and the shopping malls were superb. I would definatly recomend this to people with children or a young couple. ...  Read the complete review
