Phi Phi is picture perfect. For a room in Ton Sai village expect to pay around 600 baht and 1000 baht for an aircon one. This is quite expensive compared to other places but we found that food and drink was quite cheap. Loh Dalum bay has powder soft sand and clear shallow waters. There are numerous things to do other than lie on the beach, loads of boat trips to see Phi Phi leh, fishing, snorkelling etc. You can take a walk to the view point and across the island. Dont expect much sleep in Phi Phi - we had 3 bars near us blaring out music until 5 in the morning. It got a bit unbearable at times, I dont know how the locals can put up with it as you ... The Phi Phi islands are one of the most amazing and beautiful places I have ever been. Nestled in the small bay between Phuket and Krabi in Thailand, a number of tiny islands are dotted in the sea and these make up the collection of the magical Phi Phi islands. If you've ever seen the film The Beach, which is set on one of the main islands, it really is just as gorgeous as it looks in the film, if not more. You can catch one of the many ferries to from Phuket to take you over to the main island of Phi Phi Don which drops you off in Tonsai Bay (about an hour and a half ride). I'd recommend staying on the island for the night, along the south part of the ... Read the complete review

INTRODUCTION Thailand is a part of the world that has certainly captured me heart, many people hate the place but I personally can't get enough of it, I love the hustle and bustle of the thriving capital Bangkok and even more so the quiet and serene surroundings of Phuket and the Phi Phi islands. I am a very active individual who enjoys a challenge but I love to relax and take it easy at the same time, the Phi Phi islands cater for both sides of my personality as I can take up an extreme activity or relax on the beach and perfect my tan. I have visited the Phi Phi islands on three occasions up to now and every time it has given me a ... Read the complete review

When we arrived we checked in and went to our room. One look and we realized we didn't want to stay there so we turned right back around and asked for our money back. They said no and showed us the paper we sighned only 30 seconds earlier. I told them that I would have the police come down to get our money and they laughed at us. I checked into another hotel down the steet and called my bank. The bank said there was nothing they could do because I'd signed my name on the "no refunds agreement." That's $250 US down the drain and being laughed at by the staff while it happened. NEVER GO ... Read the complete review

I have very fond memories of my only visit to Phi Phi, which resulted from a dive package I booked in Phuket town a few years back. (My opinion about the diving can be found under Home>Sport>Watersports>Scuba Diving>Dive Sites>Thailand). The trip to Phi Phi was by air-conditioned express boat, travelling at a rate of 30 knots. Koh Phi Phi, or the Phi Phi Islands as they are often referred to (Pi Pi, Pe Pe or Pee Pee are alternate spellings according to which map or book you consult) consist of two main islands ? Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Li. The accommodation I saw was on Phi Phi Don, and didn?t look too inviting. The location was fantastic but it was hardly one star, ... Read the complete review
