Advantages: Hot, nude

Disadvantages: Cameras in the bushes!

I went to Kos in August ofr a relaxing break. I had just completed my first year of teaching and felt like I had done 10 rounds with Frank Bruno! I really wanted to relax on holiday- read, swim and eat! That was all I needed. The resort of Tingaki gave me so much more, including nudity!

The first few days that I spent in Kos really flew by. After living in Manchester which is sponsored by Travis (Why does it always rain on me?) I was not used to the heat. It took a while to get used to the constant sunshine. I did laugh though as I had managed to sort out a regime:

9am - left the apartment for the beach
11.30 ish- leave the beach for a sleep

But what did I see as I left the beach every lunch time? Loads of white as milky bar Brits carrying nets, inflatable whales, rubber rings, beach mats, cool boxes- looking like the Beverly Hillbilles on tour! When I came back to the beach in the afternoon, they were all as red as traffic lights! Cruel, I know!

~ The Beaches ~

On Tingaki there are many beaches. When you first arrive you may think they are all really packed. But if you carry on walking South, you will find almost empty beaches where you can read your copy of Captain Correlli all on your own!

~ Naked Ambition ~

I stumbled across the nudist beach like every other Brit Abroad! When I first saw everyone sat there naked. I went red and resembled Charles Hawtrey from the Carry On Films. But after a while I realised that the people sat there with it all hanging out were not as embarrassed as I was. But after dilemming about whether to drop my towel I thought better of it as I kept imagining that if there were any killer fish, they would have a field day (laughs!).

~ The Food ~

The food in Tingkai was fantastic. A three course meal only cost around £12 per person and that included drinks. I never wanted for anything really. The menus were full of Greek and English dishes. I got a real
taste for Feta Cheese and seemed to eat it with anything! If you are a fish lover, there is plenty on the menu and it comes without batter or breadcrumbs! (lol!).

~ The Shops ~

In Tingaki there are plenty of gift shops. I found a pottery shop where the lady made the items before your very eyes. I bought a couple of vases for family members as they have been innundated with Spanish Donkeys and nude playing cards from me over the years and I thought it was time to buy them something 'real!'

~ Nudes-flash ~

On the last day of the holiday I really did not want to go home. I walked the length and breadth of the gorgeous beach and there seemed to be nude sunbathers than ever before. They were all shapes and sizes. I began to undo my trunks! (OO-ER!). Before I knew it I was nude! Free at last! I did not look all around me. Like a typical Brit I tried to pretend that I had clothes on really by looking so nervous that it looked like I was dressed in a bright red blushing birthday suit! After about an hour I forgot that I was naked. I went swimming and no killer fish bit my undercarrriage! I read Captain Corelli in the nude, I sunbathed and I went looking for shells. I thought to myself what is all the fuss about? At the end of the day after I realised it was no big thing- I packed my towel away and stood up, still naked. Before my very eyes were a group of pony trekkers all taking pictures! I was one of the few nudists left on the beach! So, now I fear that my naked ambition will end up on the net!

I would throughly recommend Kos/Tingaki to anyone who loves a relaxing holidays. Throw all caution, and your clothes to the wind and go!

Thanks fellow dooyooers

Went there a couple of years ago but didn't see a single nude, well, not on the beaches anyway. Nevertheless, a great little island. Hire a car and see as much of it as you can.

Not sure I fancy the nudist beach, but a relaxing holiday sounds wonderful.

I tried the nudity bit at Brighton, but the beach is pebbly, so even if you don't have a cellulite arse, you end up looking dimpled anyway!
