When we got off the bus in Skradin, the town wasn't immediately obvious (the bus drops you about ten minute walk away from the main part) and we ended up going in the wrong direction. Eventually we found the tourist office and purchased our ticket (think it was about 95Kunar) which included our boat trip. We boarded the boat and spent a pleasant 40 minutes enjoying the stunning scenery. I will be upfront and admit that my experience of travelling to the national park probably soured me towards my experiences within the actual park itself and so I'm probably not being very fair towards what is an area of outstanding beauty! My visit to the National park was last year, in September and at the time we were staying in Split. Being of the hardy traveller type, we decided that we would go there and back in a day by bus. It seemed so easy on paper but the reality of it was that we spent 5 hours just getting there. It involved a long stay in Sibenik before catching the bus to Skradin.
