Having just come from Vegas I have so much to tell everyone there is so much to do there and its not just Sin City any more. I have compiled a list of free things to do while in Vegas. 1. Bellagio Fountains. The fountain show is free to watch you just have to arrive early to get a good viewing spot. As there is no seats its standing ... Read the complete review

I got married in May this year and we decided to make our Honeymoon an American adventure and hop to a few places. My husband Dave chose Las Vegas to visit as he had always wanted to go. Myself, I had never fancied it and to be honest the only reason I would want to go is for the lovely heat. Well now I have been to the absolutely wonderful ... Read the complete review

What a week! It's always been a dream of mine to visit Las Vegas and thankfully in 2007, I was able to realise my dream. As I was travelling on a pretty tight budget, I was hoping to avoid many of those Vegas stories about gambling everything and coming away broke. Was it possible I asked myself? To be in Vegas for a week and not gamble ... Read the complete review

--Getting there-- We flew to Vegas on a domestic flight from LA which took about 45 minutes with United. Good flight and if you tune into the audio channels you can even listen to air traffic control for the whole flight which I found fascinating. You can only fly to Vegas with Virgin direct from the UK as far as I know. On ... Read the complete review

It's been a few years since I went to Vegas, but I doubt the general atmosphere has changed too much! We went in May and stayed at the Excalibir Hotel, designed to look like a castle, and it had medieval banquets and that kind of thing. Vegas is basically made up of the strip, which has all the hotels, clubs, etc. There's not that much ... Read the complete review

My partner and I have just returned from our first trip to Vegas. Wow! Over the top, glitzy, and truly wonderful. Three nights at the start of a flydrive holiday and two nights at the end. If you can't take the heat, don't go in the summer. We went in August and I found it pretty uncomfortable. Having said that, you are free to ... Read the complete review

Las Vegas, where do i begin. I was in San Diego for a 3 week long holiday and we went to Vegas from there. I absolutely loved it and everything about it, though i will say this. 3 days was more than enough for me. We stayed in New York New York. This hotel was absolutely fantastic it was right on the strip and right in ... Read the complete review

It's been a couple of years since I was last in Las Vegas. Located near the Nevada desert, Las Vegas is known for gambling. Generally the price of hotel rooms on the strip can be competetive. For example Treasure Island Hotel has very reasonable rates especially compared to the cost of hotel rooms in tourist attractions in other parts of America. ... Read the complete review

Let's not start with the statistics. Las Vegas spews out statistics like slot machine jackpots used to spew out cascades of coins. Research the city on the net and you will be deluged with numbers: of visitors, of hotel rooms, of dollars gambled - and the tumultuous growth in all these things. They are intrinsic to its nature, and the urge ... Read the complete review

Las Vegas is a large city, known shortly as 'Vegas' and as gambling central in the heart of the desert in Nevada of the USA. I went there quite a while ago and it was a trip of a lifetime. It's such a fabulous city, as said in the city's motto - Welcome to the fabulous Las Vegas. The main strip is where it's all happening in Vegas but ... Read the complete review

Vegas sucks because it's hotter than crap, the people are fat and lazy, there is nothing to do if you have kids under the age of 21. The mayor looks and acts like a drunken bum yet has the nerve to outcast people that truly want to help the huge homeless issue (I.e. give them a sandwich). There is NO SENSE of community here - everybody lives ... Read the complete review

My husband and I visited in November 2008, staying at the very stylish Planet Hollywood. A great time to go, as out of holiday season and during the start of the international credit crunch - Vegas has been hit hard, but this means less queues and less packed streets, especially in the mornings. For example on the gondola ride in the Venetian we ... Read the complete review

Described as 'Disneyland on Steriods' is perhaps the best way to sum up Las Vegas. Whilst there may not be a visit from Mickey Mouse and co. there is most certainly enough to keep busy! And that's an understatement... We visited Las Vegas in October 2005 (so information is not up to date) and stayed at THEhotel(part of Mandalay Bay). Getting ... Read the complete review

**Las Vegas** (oops this may be a bit long but if you are wanting to visit Vegas then hopefully it should be informative:)!) Las Vegas is famous for many things from the casinos and the mob to the shows and Elvis impersonators. LAS VEGAS is one of the most fun cities in the USA. I went there a couple of years ago and didn't really expect to like it, thinking it would be really tacky and horrible. The funny thing is that although it is really tacky, it wasn't horrible in the least. Yes the whole purpose of Vegas is to make people gamble their money away. There ... Read the complete review

I took my husband to Las Vegas in November 2008 as a surprise for his 30th Birthday. Well to be honest, it wasn't that much of a surprise as I let it slip the week before where I was just getting so excited! Never the less he was still over the moon! We were both a little unsure of what to expect. In our minds we just saw ... Read the complete review

I just love Las Vegas, and I have now been 3 times (not much compared to some people mind you). I was never that interested in going as I thought it would be tacky and like an upmarket Blackpool, and I'm not a gambler, but my other half wanted to go for his 40th so thought ok. Tacky it is not, far too much money is spent in ... Read the complete review

It is a strange experience taking a vacation to a town with the purpose of spendin the whole week in hotels. I first visited Vegas as an 18 year old, and again this year (2008) aged 22, with warnings from some people that Vegas was a seedy place that was not suitable for a young man. Now having been twice I can see exactly what these ... Read the complete review

Las Vegas is well known as an adult playground. However, it is not everybody's idea of a good time. Located in the middle of a desert, in Nevada, USA, it takes a good while to get here if you are driving from somewhere else. The location makes it hot for most of the year, and summers can be extremely hot. There is very little ... Read the complete review
