Lithuania is a relatively small country, nestled in the Baltic region of Europe, bordering Poland, Russia, Belarus and Latvia. It has a population of nearly 3 millions and a half souls, and its capital is Vilnius, where more than ? million people live. It is estimated that more than 10% of its population live in Uk, and about 200,000 people only in London. Other countries where Lithuanians live are Spain, Germany and Holland. Although I find it hard to believe, my Lithuanian friends told me that nearly 1 in 4 Lithuanian people currently live and work out of the country.
