Advantages: Lively, cheap food

Disadvantages: Drunken youths, overcrowded

I went here in July this year and I have to say was overall, disapointed. It was a nice place but it was very busy, and there were to many drunken youths. The beaches were very busy and quite breazy. We stayed in fanals beach, which was quiter, more serene and more fun. I would recommend that especially to familys, where its more quiter.
The beach there was very nice, warm, although a little stoney. The weather however was disapointed, we could only sunbathe one day, we had two storms, severe gales, hail and heavy rain. I guess we were just unlucky though!
