Advantages: Cheap and clean resort/ beach

Disadvantages: Not much going on

Lloret gets quite a bad press but I don't think that its bad as people make out.

An advantage of it is that it's REALLY cheap to get out there, hotel accommodation is cheap and food and drinks are really cheap.

The beach is clean but it's a shingle beach with personally I don't like and it's very uncomfortable to walk on. The views are nice looking up the coast although the resort its self is very touristy and lots of concrete buildings everywhere.

There are good transport (bus) links to Barcelona. Which is good as there isn't loads to do once you have visited the many souvenir shops, bars and shopping area.

If you want lots to do and want a holiday for a week or more... don't come here, you will get bored. If you want to lie round the pool and sunbathe and do nothing else... come here as its cheap to do that!! For a group of friends wanting a longer weekend break I would say consider up!! The nightlife isn't the best and anywhere on par with Ayia Napa, Magaluff etc but drinks are so much cheaper!

Summary: Ok for sunbathing, but not a great deal to do in the resort itself
