It is most famous for its diverse range of lemurs, but these are just the tip of the iceburg as there are so many beuatiful animals and plants to look at. I would also recommend if possible staying with the locals, they are the most friendly people I think I have ever met. They have almost nothing, but will give you almost anything. I went to Madagascar 2 years ago and lived out here for one month. If you are looking for a luxury holiday then I have to say Madagascar is not the place for you, however if you are interested in different cultures and are prepared to live semi rough for a while go there.
