The Seychelles archipelago, nestled within the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, is truly a 'picture perfect' destination for the sun seekers amongst us. However, it does not always live up to everybody's expectations of paradise. CULTURE: Although first colonised by the French, then the English, the island cannot boast a long history of lore and culture. Of the little that there is, such as the 'Sega' dance, is drummed into the ground as cheap entertainment for hotel guests. The real thing is reserved for traditional Seychellois weddings.
