Advantages: Brilliant nightlife, hot, such a laugh

Disadvantages: Definitely none!

Malia is an amazing place to go if you're young (or feel it!) and ready for a week or two of wild antics you will never forget!
I went with three girls in August 2008, and we stayed in the Frixos Hotel and Apartments. Our flight was evening, and arrived at around 3am local time. I won't go into details about the hotel, that's for a different post really.
We arrived on a Tuesday, and the constant partying left us knackered by the Friday, meaning we slept form 7pm until 10am the next day! Unfortunately we missed the foam party, but there was plenty else to do.
The main strip is full of bars, restaurants and clubs, who al want your money! To be honest, we found it funny rather than annoying when we got carried into random clubs for free drinks! The first night, we were quite naive, and went out around 10, only to be told to come back at 1 when it gets a bit more lively. Don't expect to come back until around 6. The first round of drinks we bought was 4 for £5, but what we didn't realise was that this was for each person!
Candy, Venue, Apollo and Loft are just a few on the great places we went to.
The fantastic pizza slices sold on the way home are also cheap, and so tasty after a night out!
The beaches get quite crowded with people on sunbeds are watersports but it's all part of the fun. People are constantly coming round offering food and drink which is nice.
DEFINITELY make sure you take a trip to Watercity! It's an amazing waterpark, with really friendly staff and atmosphere. Our day there was probably the best one! You can have professional photos taken for £5 too, which are of good quality.
We went on a booze cruise which was also a great day out. The boat took us to a more secluded are of the island, where we could have fun in the sea and on the rocky beach. A barbecue was also served. There was a lot fun and games onboard too which everyone could get involved in, along with a free cocktail.
Malia was the best holiday ever, and I definitely recommend going there! You won't regret it! There's a lot of negative press surrounding Malia, but I think that's because it's not aimed at older people who prefer to spend their holidays relaxing, and have already grown up and had families!

Summary: I want to live there!
