MarbellaNewest Review: ... There are also many shopping complexes with well known designer boutiques. There isn't much you cannot find in Marbella. There are many little utility stores in side streets with very competitive prices. However along the beach walk way which seems to go on for miles you will be approached by tradesmen trying to sell you a bargain, with leather goods, watches, jewellery and DVD's; be ... more |

After my reviews on the airlines (Ryan-Air and Monarch) to and from Marbella. I just couldn't resist a review on this Spanish resort where my wife and I had a short visit and a wonderful time. We have experienced the trip by coach from Malaga airport to and from Marbella on a few previous visits, which I also rate as "OK once you are on your way." The coach trip can be quite an experience for people travelling with too much baggage with a free-for-all on the bus, as we have previously experienced; however the fare to and from Marbella on the bus is only 4.27 Euros each way, as taxi will set you back around 40-50 Euros each way. So if you ... Read the complete review

I have just returned from three days in Marbella. As part of my job, I organised a trip for my company’s major customers, unfortunately that meant I have to go too….well someone had to! I will tell you about the hotel we stayed in and the places we visited. We stayed at the Don Carlos Beach Resort. This is one of the tallest hotels in the area and is quite spectacular. The lobby is very luxurious with lots of sofas and fabulous lighting etc. There is a concierge service and an excellent reception – they seemed to speak any language. Some of us stayed in rooms in the tower and others, including me in the main hotel which is three ... Read the complete review

As a prize for being part of a winning sales team, my husband and I embarked a few days in the exclusive Club Marbella Complex. Oh yes. The playground of the rich and famous saw Mr & Mrs Salgirl descend to sample the delights that we're told by glossy magazines, usually escape the likes of me and you. After a pleasant flight and a bumpy coach journey down the scarily named "Death Highway", we arrived at the gates of the cool and sumptious Marbella Club. Looking every inch like paradise, the carefully manicured and pruned plants framed themselves professionally against the quietly expensive looking buildings. A quick look ... Read the complete review
