Best holiday destination iv ever been to - Marmaris (Marmaris)

Advantages: Cheap, lots of bars/clubs, lovely beach

Disadvantages: Waiters pesturing you

This is the most fantastic place iv ever been on holiday. I have been to Marmaris three times now over 4 years. The first two times i went i went with family and then the 3rd time i went with a group of my friends (6girls) and it was the best time iv ever had.
It can be quite annoying all the pesturing you get from the waiters but you get used to it. Sometimes though its best to just ignore them or they will go on and on to try get you into their bars and restuarants. What can ya say though i suppose, its their job.
There is so many bars and clubs along the beach as well as in Bar Street although bar street is mainly full of Turkish people rather than British which i didnt like. The beach has lovely restuarants as well as the bars, all situated right along the front giving a lovely sea view.
During the day the beach is packed with British people picking up a few rays. The restuarants are opened all day so you dont have far to go to get yourself some lunch. The waiters walk about along the beach and ask all day if you would like anything to eat or drink. They will bring your order over to you so even if your feeling to lazy to leave your sunbed your sure to get something to tickle your taste buds or quence your thirst.
Marmaris is very resonably priced as wel especially now with the Euro being at such a rubbish exchange rate. Drinks and meals are cheap all over the town.
Buying clothes is a must when you visit Turkey, you get top named brands at cheaper than half the price. Although its not all real brands and most is fake, it still looks the part and you could get away with telling all your friends and family that you have the real deal.
I went to Gullak for 5 days last year with my partner and i must say it is no where near as good as Marmaris, its a very small town and there is not alot to do apart from mayb go to a retsuarant for dinner and then back to the hotel bar. It was nothin compared to Marmaris.
I will be going back to Marmaris next year.
