Disadvantages: hot, dirty, packed and hot again!

I'm sorry, but I hated Marmaris.
The bazaar was nice, but I got really fed up with all the stall holders chasing after me, trying to force feed me Turkish Delight and apple tea! Maybe I'm too English!
It could be that I was just really irritable all the time, as it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot there. There is no breeze at all, and even in the shade, the tables are too hot to touch.
I also had my bum groped, and another man reached over and wiped a bead of sweat off my face, nice!
The beach at Marmaris is foul. The water is filthy, full of rubbish and engine fuel, and the strip of sand/shingle is also dirty.
The sunbeds are so tightly packed you can just about get off and walk between them.
Sorry, but that's just my opinion.

Summary:
