If heaven was a place on earth then I must say it is a small island in the middle of the Pacific. The location is amazing, as a surfer it was verging on perfect. The water is clear warm and begging you to get in. The location is second to none, it has a variety of landscapes varying from rain forest to reefs and Mountains to beaches. The locals are friendly and eager to please and socialise. The quality of food and service in all the restaurant was of a high level and the majority of people went out of their way to help. LUXURY AT ITS BEST MAUI This is a dream come true for anyone who travels to Maui and an experience you will never forget. Everything the books say are true and more, the place is fantastic and the people are so friendly We flew there from Honolulu to spend a week in the Kaanapali Beach Hotel which was right on the beach as you would expect by its name. It was a special anniversary for us and we were greeted with a beautiful drawing by a local artist and every evening our fridge was filled with strawberries dipped in chocolate and a bottle of bubbly.
