Rosarito has a nice beach, a string of nice bars/clubs and some nice restaurants. It feels nice walking along the streets a lon safer than Tijuana, and is only about 40 minutes on the bus from the Mexico/US border.

We were staying in a hotel in San Diego and decided on the first night that we didn’t like Tijuana it felt too rough and sleazy. So the very nice receptionist at the hotel told us how to get to Rosarito. For 5 teenagers with no knowledge of Spanish it is very easy, get on the next bus in bay C and get off on the next stop. We spent the day on the beach, I’ve seen some cleaner, but it’s nicer than another couple I could name.
We had some really nice food from a seafood restaurant which unfortunately I can’t remember the name of, but we found it by asking the taxi driver the name of the nicest seafood restaurant! There were 9 of us eating, and it cost less than US$40 including drinks.

Then we went to a club, “Iggy’s sun of the Beach” It was US$12 and then had free drinks all night, basically different tequila cocktails. There were 3 choice and we didn't understand enough Spanish to know what was in them, or to ask for the same again, so we had random cocktails. They were all nice, although my personal favourite was the yellow one-lemon I think!
There was an area outside which had been made into a foam party, with a bungee jump wild bull. There was food served in the enterace, mainly burritos and tachos. There was also an indoor dancing area witch was quite small compared to other clubs, but with the majority of people outside, it matter too much.

The bad point to the day was having to get a taxi back because the last bus back to Tijuana leaves at about ~8pm, and because of the foam party, we were all quite wet. So next time I would take a change of clothes, or maybe act like the locals and take them off! That was only one guy, who was only wearing speedo, outside
in the foam.
