It's also one of the busiest parts and seems to be the home of many of the foreign immigrants. Don't be suprised to see a wealth of Indian restaurants especially running up Lexington. The actual buildings around this area are not the nicest either with many greyed out and dulled by the years of pollution from the constant traffic. There are some cheap places to stay around here and plenty of movie theatres as well as Union Square. There are plus and minus points to living in Midtown Manhattan. The one thing it's great for is the ease of getting to the main parts by foot. A short walk can find you ending up in Times Square, looking up at the Empire State Building and browsing the shops along Broadway. It's also one of the busiest parts and seems to be the home of many of the foreign immigrants. Don't be suprised to see a wealth of Indian restaurants especially running up Lexington.
