I would like to recommend a friendly, well- established skydiving service about an hour's drive south of Cairns in Tropical North Queensland. The company is named 'Jump the Beach' and operates on Mission Beach. Advantages: There are a number of skydiving options here from the basic 8,000 ft tandem dive to 14,000 ft solo jumps. Extra options include videos and photographs shot by creative and experienced skydivers. The staff are focused, helpful and humourous - an ideal place to start an awestruck, nerve wrenching experience.
