Nice beach, great GREAT airport. Travel time from London Stansted was around 1.5-2 hours. Excellent. However Ryanair was damned expensive - will go with Easyjet next time from Gatwick. I bloody love this place. It's so beautiful, the council REALLY cares about tourism so there's LOTS of stuff to do in Summer. Estivals with wine and cheese tasting, tourist train, TONNES. I come from Montpellier. I was born there, I grew up there and then I left. And then I came back, and left again. Once you've been there, once you tamed its people, you will always come back, for Montpellier is a wonderful city and has a lot to offer. Montpellier is a totally chilled out bohemian and incredibly pretty town. if you like sun and a really warm relaxed atmosphere , original and interesting little shops full of hard to come by knick knacks, small windy roman streets and architecture and cool friendly people then I strongly suggest you visit Montpellier. For advice on where to go at night look out for advertised fetes/touffs in the streets. they are definately the best place to go if you want to experience the real Montpellier. I seriously cannot reccomend it enough, go and see for yourself. ...  Read the complete review
