Advantages: Variety accessible

Disadvantages: Beach resorts can be too hot in summer

Morocco has the advantage of being not too far away and offering a variety of things to do. It is quite a big country so a coach tour or similar is a good way to see what it has to offer and then perhaps gp back for the bits ypu like. Broad highlights are.
The Cities - from Tangiers to Marrakesh they all offer cultural monuments and extensive Souks (markets). Marrakesh is the best known but Fes is my favourite. The dye pits (for leather) are a bit smelly but we were given bunches of mint to smell ! In Rabat the Royal stud and stables are interesting.
Mountains - if you like walking and different scenery the Atlas provide it and for softies it is accessible by road.
Desert - the southern part of the country is the Sahara so it is easy to "dip your toe in" without any danger. The nomad camps you happen to come across of course are located just in the right place to waylay tourists but climbing and running down sand dunes is great fun.
Overall Morocco has a lot to offer with great food and friendly people.
