Mozambique ... [ʁɛ'publikɐ dɨ musɐ̃'bikɨ]), is a country in southeastern Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, Tanzania to the north, Malawi and Zambia to the northwest, Zimbabwe to the west and Swaziland and South Africa to the southwest. It is a member of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries and the Commonwealth of Nations.

Still revovering from a civil war and suffering from the disaterous effects of the floods for the last two years Mozambique should be proud it is still standing. Mozambique is a vast country stretching from Maputo in the far South to its borders way North with Tanzania and Malawi. although I have already been three times this year alone I have not even touched the surface of this vast country. With the roads North of Maputo mainly undeveloped it is best to only venture up North if you have a 4WD. to delve even further up North is it also best if you have an understanding of Portugese as English is not well known.
