I am writing this review on the cause of Mumbai terrorist attacks that is being carried out right at this time. It may not match the review name which is 'Mumbai' but it is more to do with the recent attack on the city.

Mumbai is the financial capital of India, one of the most busy cities and strategically important to trade via its harbour ports. Britishers named it Bombay since they were finding it hard to pronounce Mumbai but recently the city is changed back to Mumbai, traditionally an Hindu goddess's name 'Mumba Devi'. The city is the home to Bollywook which is world's largest film development community along with multinational companies and businesses.

On 26th of November 2008, terrorists attacked several places of Mumbai. These are ranging from railway station to hotels and hospitals. This cowardly act was carried out by a terrorist group called 'Deccan Mujahiddin' which belongs to rural Pakistan and may be supported by their state. They manage to capture a boat from neighbout region in which all 40 armed terrorists arrived to harbour of Mumbai.

They open fired in the railway station killing 25-28 people and rushed to Taj Mahal and Oberoi hotels. These are 7star hotels of Mumbai where all the celebrities and businessmans stay. They opened fire on tourists killing a total of 146 (confirmed).

The terrorists contained a very high amount of RDX explosives, AK47 & Grenades to throw at Indian milliatary forces. Very soon a team of 200 National Security Guards (NSG) was deployed surrounding the hotels and a team of Elite commandos were called on to rescue the hostages. The Indian commandos successfully rescued 200 people from Taj hotel and finally killed the terrorist after a long battle. On the other hand, the battle was raging in a Jewish building of Mumbai. The terrorist killed 5 hostages and in return the commandos finished them notorious terrorists.

The gun battle caused by cross border terrorists killed 146 people which included 13 foreign nationals, local people and 18 brave soldiers of Indian force.

Our family has been in contact touch with relatives in Mumbai and we are watching news channel most of the time. We are really concerned about the security of people there. My dad called our relatives in India straight as he saw these reports in TV about terrorists attacking 7 places at once.

I would say these is utter cowardly acted by terrorist who kill innocent people. C'mon, open firing in hospital is really the limit to be disgusting. The terrorist gained publicity since they specifically targeted American and British tourists to become international headlines.

When will these terrorist understand that they will not gain anything from these instead of people's hate. India is victim of terrorism since 1947 but the world has failed to notice until today because this attack is compared to USA's 9/11.
