Advantages: A LOT TO SEE

I took a journey through the fertile lands of the Zevulunto Valley on my way to Nazareth. Along the way I visited loads of churches including the Church of the Annunciation where the first miracle was worked. I paused at the Sea of Galilee where it took my breath away listening to the chants and prayers coming from the distance of the water amid all the serenity. On to Capernaum to see a Synagogue dating back to the 3rd or 4th century. Finally on our return journey back to Haifa we stopped off to see the River Jordan. It was very disappointing, so grown over with grass and weeds it was only the size of a stream. My expectations were too high and the image I had envisaged did not appear in real life.

If you are into churches and history and religion this is the perfect holiday for you. I found it very informative but the trips were too organized for me.
