My Sister is currently in Nepal She left on the 1st of February. There are lots of organisations which organise to take students on a Gap year. You go with a group of people but you meet them before and can talk on the phone to them so they are not complete strangers.

My sister is currently staying in a school and teaching the Nepalese children English. We have been in contact with her through email. Nepalese currency is in Rubees.

100 rubees = £1

After she has finished teaching she is planning to explore the rest of Nepal.. The capital of Nepal is Katmandu that is were my sister is.

Before you go you will need injections so not to catch diseases. There are lots of mosquitos cockroaches so it is best to buy a mosquito net to cover you when you sleep they will not walk over you or sting you. Diarrea tablets are also advised you can get those from most pharmacies.

My sister is having the time of her live and you can do the same. I will up date this opinion and give some more tips to you when my sister next emails me.
