The following day we went to one of the main sights of the Nevsihir region , if you can imagine lots of toadstool shaped buildings dotted here there and everywhere , I have never experienced anywhere quite like it. As you walk around the site you become more and more in awe of this wonderful place, some of them are so large that they were converted into cathederals complete with frescoes. This region of Turkey has to be seen to be believed. We were on holiday in Kemer a seaside resort in Antalya, this trip was advertised as a two day excursion,well the journey seemed to take forever and eventually we arrived at a gorge I believe it was called Pigeon Gorge owing to the two natural formations of Pigeons overlooking it. It was breathtaking , and by this time of night the sun was just setting and as you looked down into the gorge it was just like a scene from the Smurfs, loads and loads of little dwelling places all caused by natural erosions so wonderful!
