Driving from Newark airport can give you the impression that New Jersey is an industrial wasteland, but if you persevere you will find that there is some lovely countryside and small towns and villages. There is some good shopping, particularly at the Woodbury Mall, which must be shopping heaven, its huge! The Ramada Twin Towers Hotel is in a remote location but has a regular bus service into Manhatten, backs on to open countryside and is within walking distance of Bennigans, who do the best eggs benedict (good for hangovers)!! ...
