Having just returned from a ‘Fly/drive’ holiday to California, I thought what better way to get back into the Dooyoo writing thing than to write an opinion on this subject. For those unaware of Fly/drive, its basically a type of holiday where you pay for a flight, a car and then you drive around a region of the US stopping in a number of hotels/motels on the way. Go, its cheap and they are a positive happy race but ignore all the arrogrance - Advantages: people are positive and friendly, car based culture, geographical diverse - mountains, rainforst, desert, cities - Disadvantages: More body image obsessed culture, undertone of violence in cities, Nation of egomatics

I would go just for the experience of meating people that are ment to be like you but are different. - Advantages: They have great accents , Very polite, weather that is constantly changing from hot sun to cold snowy winters - Disadvantages: You cant walk anywhere, everywhere you go you have to drive, Lots of car accidents as kids can drive early in their teens, The roads are really bad and bumpy.

This summer, after hours of careful consideration and deliberation, our family decided to take their holidays in Florida for the 4th time. Having experienced the fun and sun of Disney more than enough times, we headed 200 miles south, for the sunny resort of Sarasota. Taking the I5 road almost all the way there, the drive is easy and stretches mile upon mile of brilliant views and amazing scenery. Sarasota has all the excitement of Florida, but without the usual crowds. If you want to go to America you will either go with a few friends or your family; where you may want to go for a month, where you can have a great time doing it the American way. R. V’s. An R.V (recreational vehicle) is a caravan, which isn't towed by a vehicle in front, is all in one so the cab is at the front of the R.V, below the high bed. But you probably will not always want to drive in the R.V so you can borrow a car which can you can seat eight, it can be a help if you want to go in to little towns all across America, because it is really hard parking your R.V in to the designated spaces, because it is a 30ft long vehicle.
