I called the Police in Huron and asked them if they knew anything about the Lake Erie monster being back. They responded that it is an Ice Cream stand and it was open again this season. I said no, the actual monster, the one that killed them people back in 1994. He hung up on me. That confirmed what I suspected, that who ever has the Juice, the power and wealth in this area, matched with vested interest in seeing the tourist return and innocently swim and boat amidst a monster (Just like Jaws!!!!) had gotten to the peelers as well as the newpaper... more |

Ohio. Where I live. Normally Ohio is not associate with wars, disease, famine, and genocide, or any other sundry maladies that generally define a locale as being dangerous. But it has one more potent cancer that surpasses all others in ability to devastate a society. A Cold hard apathy to the worst ecological and blood disaster. Let me explain. I am out on the dock in Huron Ohio trying to singlehandedly deplete the Lake Erie Perch population and a whole bottle of Yukon Jack at the same time. But no basket of fish. Not a single one.
