Burial rituals and Ceramics were introduced for the first time in Ontario and man began to be more independent, instead of going out in tribal hunting packs, they would farm their own food from farming principles developed over their years of existence. On the turn of the 17th century, European explorers set out to discover the land of Canada. Mainly ... more |

Ontario, Canada To put it simply, Ontario is big. And by big I mean you could fit quite a bit of mainland Europe into that province alone. It’s so big in fact that the word “big” is under exaggerating Ontario and it should be massive instead. ok....... Ontario is immensely massive and home to some of the country’s most beautiful scenery, wildlife and Nature Reserves, as well as its town’s, Cities and its more modern cultural locations. Ontario includes the largest population in Canada and it is surprisingly not the biggest province but comes just second with a massive 1,069,000 ... Read the complete review

Niagara Falls is one of the most awe-inspiring sights that I have ever seen. Before you can see the falls you can hear the thunder of the water cascading over the edge. We were there in June 2000 and found the place to be one of contrasts. The Niagara Parkway which runs alongside the Falls and on north to Niagara on the Lake is undoubtedly one of the nicest stretches of road that I have ever travelled along. The area immediately next to the Falls is quite scenic with well manicured gardens and floral displays but only one block west at the Clifton Hill area you have what can only be described as tourist trash- a combination of hideous neon displays advertising Ripley's' ... Ontario is definitely out of all the Canadien provinces the one worth visiting the most. It has a varied mix of history with modernity, from the Army College in Kingston to the Skydome in Toronto, to Niagara Falls. Everyone in this province speaks English so there is no problem doing anything that you want to do unlike maybe Quebec. Kingston is one of the oldest cities in Ontario and well worth visiting if you would like to see more history. It offers bars, cinema's all the usual things. But also there is a boat ride around the 1000 islands of lake ontario which is magnificent. The climate around this province is milder then many other parts of Canada but still ...
