 Pakistan ... جمہوریۂ پاکستان), is a country located in South Asia and the Greater Middle East.[2][3] It has a 1046 kilometer coastline along the Arabian Sea in the south, and is bordered by Afghanistan and Iran in the west, India in the east and the People's Republic of China in the far northeast.[4] Pakistan is the sixth most populous country in the world and is the second most populous country with a Muslim majority. Most of it was conquered in the 1st millennium BCE by Persians and Greeks. Later arrivals include the Arabs, Afghans, Turks, Baloch and Mongols. The territory was incorporated into the British Raj in the nineteenth century. Since its independence, the country has experienced both periods of significant military and economic growth, and periods of instability, with the secession of East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh). Pakistan, is a very beautiful country to visit. Islamabad is a very attractive and modern city. However,I'd like to point out that th north of Pakistan is very pretty. There are hill stations where you can spend some time and enjoy the scenry. The scenery is beautiful, there are valleys and mountains. Dry areas and areas which are fully green. There is so much diversity in this one country. Also, another point is that, like India, there are also ancient buildings and remains of building from the Moghul and other eras in Pakistan too. I was in Pakistan for four months and when I was there I had a wonderful time. It is a great place to go to if you are careful. There are wonderful places to visit in Pakistan. I would suggest not missing out on going to some of the faboulous mosque's when your there. When you go though remeber to take off your shoes. You pay a small fee and get a numbered ticket to recieve them again. If you go into the mosque uncovered or wearing shows this will lead to anger and embarssement to the local people.
