The enchanting city that is Paris (Paris)

Advantages: So many things to do, so much character, just amazing.

Disadvantages: I can't think of anything!

As everyone knows, Paris is the capital of France, and often refered to as the city of love. It is one of the world's major global cities and influences many aspects of out lives such as the media; fashion; sciences; arts and many more.

Paris is my favorite city, although I have only visited it once on a trip in High School. It's so amazing. It has so much character and is enchanting. There are so many things to do and see while there. Please remember though, these are only the places I have been, and i know that this city has so much more to offer!

The places to go see, in my opinion, are these:

Notre Dame de Paris on the River Seine. Amazing building, You cannot help put look at all the detail that was put into it, all the craftmanship. I'd also recommend a boat trip on the River Seine too. It isn't too much money; definatly go when it's dark. The lights of the city are incredible.

A walk, or car ride down the street leading to the Arc de Triomphe- the Champs-Elysees. Little fact for you; that street is the only street that the McDonalds sign isn't yellow. It's actually white. If going down in a car, you can also go around the roundabout; but be careful, a majority of car insurances (one's on France anyway!) won't pay out if you crash on it!

The Louvre. This is one of the biggest most famous museums which is home to the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo statue. Although I didn't go inside, it is still a great place to visit if you're there.

I also went to see the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur while there. It is the highest point of the city, with many steps leading up to it. Behind the building, you get loads of artists all painting and trying to see their work. It's a really interesting and fun visit.

Disneyland Paris! Such a great place! If you find yourself in Paris, go, thats all i need to say. It is world the money, you would definatly have a great time there. :D

And finally, the Eiffel Tower. it is breathtaking to behold. Be sure to take the lift for a view of the city. And in my opinion, go at night, when they light it up. It is incredible. Yes, if you want to go up, it does cost (and you do have to wait a while, but you get a great view from underneath the tower). Definatly worth it in my opinion! Best part of Paris by miles. :)

Well, thats all the places i have been. I know the city offers more, so if you do go, go everywhere. You won't regret, it. It is a magical city.
