I have visit Paris a couple of times now, and last time I went their was a couple of years ago. We went in the couple of weeks running up to christmas so there was a brilliant atmosphere. When I was searching for hotels, I came to find that the closer the hotels were to the Effeil Tower, the more expensive they were, so to keep things cheap, we decided to cheap a little further away. I dont think that Paris is the sort of place you would go for a 2 week or even a 1 week holiday, but rather a couple of days there would be perfect.

During those couple of days, you wont be bored as there is so much for you to do. Of course, one thing that everyone who goes to Paris must do is go and see on of the most famous structures in the world, the Effiel Tower. At the top, you can see all the way across Paris, and provides amazing views of the city, a definite must do. If you have a little extra cash and some time to kill, then I would suggest that you go to the largest Art gallery in the world, the Lovure, which houses the most expensive painting in the world, The Mona Lisa.

Paris is more of a romantic holiday, and I wouldnt suggest that you take your kids with you, unless of course that you are going to Disneyland. Also, going around 14th Febuary can make a brilliant Valentines Day. There are hundreds of restaurantes to choose from, and many people even propose there. Its really is a terrific setting. In all, Paris isnt an expensive city, but it is an adult city, so beware of the kids.
