PoitiersNewest Review: ... 19.50 each. A lot of money, but we thought well worth it. On the peak season days there is a laser show at night, and it is out of this world. If you possibly can, make sure you go to see it. It only last half an hour unfortunately, but it was sheer magic. It is outside, and they use the fountains for the show. Futuroscope is a unique and wonderful experience. It is basically a theme park, landscaped and built to look very futuristic, and it is an experience just wandering around admiring the buildings! The rides are futuristic technology rides, 3d cinemas, 360 degree cinemas, giant cinema screens, shows with moving seats etc. There are so many you will never fit it all into one day! You can purchase one or two day passes. We bought a one day pass, on a peak season day, and that was 19.50 each. A lot of money, but we thought well worth it. Plenty of 3D cinemas, 360degree cinemas, and one with a screen 7 storeys high. Tips: after you go through the turnstile on the left is an information center were you can ...

I have a keen intrest in cinematography and special effects used in films etc so the thought of going to a park dedicated to the moving image was a good idea. We bought and all in package that included Eurostar from Waterloo to Paris and TGV(french train) to Poitiers. Also in the deal was accomadation and two day tickets to the park. The journey to Poitiers itself was wonderful and get there with half a day to spare. Soon the park will open a station on its grounds so you can get off IN the parc. Sounds great doesn't it. I got to the park in the afternoon and proceeded to go ...
