I went to Portugal on holiday this year with my wife and two children. I liked the country very much. Out of all the holidays i have been on i think the portugease are some of the freindliest and most helpfull people i have come accross.

We stayed in a small resort called Fellisia which was a 20 minute drive from Albuferia. The food was great and very high quality, there was also a great deal of choice and they werent to pushy about getting you into restaurants or shops.

The public transport was quite cheap and the busses were very regular.

One of the nicest things about the area was how clean everything was, i have found in the past that when you are in a main holiday resort things can come a bit tired and old, but here everything felt fresh.

The only down side we had was the weather, but that was more down to the time of year. We went at easter time. The first week was nice and warm but the 2nd was a bit wet on and off. I will be going back again though.

Summary: Brilliant for a family holiday
