Positano

When you arrive to Positano by boat you enjoy a marvellous view. Lots of white, yellow and pink little house are all around the beach. It's one of the most beautiful villages on the Amalfi coast. May and September are the best month to visit it, because the climate is sweet and there aren't too many tourists. Positano is full of nice shops where you can buy sandals handmade and typical clothes. Positano is very expensive: a pizza costs about 5 £ if you don't have a seat in the pizzeria. I stayed for 2 weeks in a sumptious villa right at the top of Possitano. There are some nice reasturants along the shop front such as Chez Black, none of which are overly priced and all do nice meals. There is all small beach, but there is not sand, just gravvel. Not my idea of a beach, but it was never the less always crammed full at midday. Scenerywise the town is beautiful, it looks so beautiful, a traditional little Italin town purched onto the steep side of a huge mountain. Unforchunalty the mountain bit means thet there is likely to be A LOT of walking somewere during yopur stay.
