Forget the carribean! cyprus is just as-if not more beautiful, and much much cheaper too, ranging from about £150-£250 depending on where you go for a return ticket. I reccomend Protaras as the ideal getaway, with its white sands and turquiose seas, quiet secluded bays and wonderful resturants and Tavernas to suit all tastes. Fig Tree Bay in Protaras is simply the best! The waters in this town are so clear, you'd think you were sitting in a big beautiful bath! Richard the lionheart thought the island was so beautiful that he gave it to Cleopatra the Egyptian Queen as a present. And how beautiful Cyprus Is! Its packed full of History, with plenty ton explore and see!
The food and drink is outstanding, everything is cheap and the people all speak English and make you feel very welcome, wherever you are in Cyprus. There is also a wide range of watersports and icecream flavours you thought never existed.
Cyprus is absolutley magical, sunny, with wonderful nightlife to suit all tastes. Stay in protaras for more quiet nightlife, go to nearby Ayia Napa for its renowned "square"-one of the best nightspots in the Middle East/Europe.
An absolute paradise Island-No wonder Aphrodite the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born there!

The price seems a bit low. You must have had an exceptopnal bargain as even in March it was around £300. Good view of the area.
