Advantages: Beaches surrounding it!

Disadvantages: The sand gets too hot during the day

Being an established traveller (Ive been to lots of places around the world) I would have to say that Cyprus was the most wonderful place. My holiday lasted 4 weeks - I got to tour the Island on occasion and have got to say that it is extremely beautiful. Its amazing how beautiful such a small Island can be. As I said, the sites were amazing, but you cant beat just kicking back and relaxing! The beaches have to be the most beautiful Ive ever been on - especially a little cove in Pernera, just behind the appartments I stayed in. The apartments themselves were top class - everything was provided. During our stay it was even possible to take a short cruise to Egypt and the Holy Lands - a real must if you ask me!
Overall, Id recommed this holiday to anyone!

Protaras is gorgeous, one of my favourite holiday destinations. Would have liked some more info, though.

I have stayed in Protaras, Cyprus too & loved it. I didn't feel that u did the island justice with so short an opinion. As u toured the island, couldn't u have included descriptions of some of the places you visited. I, like ChaCha, wld be happy to re-rate if u extend yr opinion

Sorry about the low rating - but I'm sure there is a lot more than this to say about the resort (e.g best restaurant, bar, good for young/clubbers/families etc) - if you make any additions, be sure to let me know, and I'll very happily re-rate
