Puerto PollensaNewest Review: ... has excellent food, an impressive interior, and good service. Things to try in Puerto Pollensa inclde scuba diving, available at Scuba Mallorca. The diving here is definitely worth a try, they offer courses for new divers and excursions for qualified divers. You can hire everything you need. In the past I have dived with Barracudas here. Another sport available is windsurfing. Although I ... more |

We go here several times a year as my parents have a house in the nearby town of Pollenca. 'The port' as it is sometimes known is very different from the old town and attracts a different clientele. Popular with young families, it is not as raucous as some of the coastal tourist haunts on the island. The beaches here are not the best in the area and can be very busy in high season but are still very pleasant. Walk along the Pine Walk to often quieter areas with some lovely cafes along the seafront. It should be noted that although the sea often looks very calm and safe, there have been quite a few drownings over the years. Stay is a ... Read the complete review

I have been here twice, both times on a family holiday. My family has since visted here 3 more times. It is beautiful place. It takes about an hour to get there from Palma airport depending wether you have to wait for others to be dropped off first etc. The marina is absolutly stunning, from small fishing boats to very very expensive ships which are great fun to look at. Puerto Pollensa is probably one of the safest areas on the island, I was very comfortable walking back to the hotel on my own. It is a family orientated place, don't expect to find loads of drunken teens, I believe there is one night club in the ... Read the complete review

I visited here in June and was here for a week but could have stayed for longer.I stayed in the Hotel Pollensa and must say the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. The beach is just across the other side of the road and you are there so that was another great advantage. The Hotel Uyall which was next to my hotel and they had a swimming pool that I was able to use as this was part of the chain of hotels for Hotel Pollensa. The Euro 2008 tournament was on so I sometimes watched this and every other night there was entertainment at Hotel Pollensa or The Uyall. I would have to say I enjoyed the Flamenco Dancers and there was ... Read the complete review

You just knew that after going to Spain for a week I would have to come back and write a review of where I stayed right away. So here I go. My mom and I decided to go on holiday after a disaster to France and a way to calm me down the week before I got my exam results. So off we went on a girly holiday to Puerto Pollensa or the Port of Pollensa. Now I’m only going to write this one review about my holiday so listen up. Location Puerto Pollensa is located in the northern region of Majorca. If any of you know of Alcudia, it’s about 5km from there. Not to be confused with Pollensa, which is a small old village a few km away from Puerto, this place is a haven ... Read the complete review
